WildAid Poster Series

WildAid

WildAid works to reduce global consumption of wildlife products and to increase local support for conservation efforts. Their goal is to mitigate poaching by appealing to children and change public opinion of the animals affected.

The studio class I was in was tasked with illustrating A0 (33.1 in x 46.8 in) illustrated poster series. After the first poster was completed, we were asked to create a series of three additional posters.

My concept for this poster series was to show empathetic animals in their natural environment. The purpose of portraying them in this way is so that people can relate to the animals, which creates a better respect for each other.
I chose to use vibrant-saturated versions of the colors of their environments. WildAid provided research and insight into our audience that told us they responded positively to powerful colors.
Above are the final renderings of my series. The copy would appear in multiple languages. In this situation, the text is missing but will be added later by WildAid themselves.
